Paw Prints TidBits for February Do you remember your first valentine? I remember making valentines with my mother and sisters. The kitchen table would be loaded with piles of red construction paper, little bottles of glue, and white paper doilies. For days we'd cut out hearts and make cards in all shapes and sizes. Even after I became an adult, my mother still gave me hand-made valentines on Valentine's Day. So, although I can't actually remember my first valentine, I'm sure it came from her. Our anecdote for February is about Mark Clark, a U.S. general during World War II and the sidebar contains proverbs about love and marriage. This month's slideshow is also about love. Don't forget to give someone a valentine this year. Who knows? It might be their first one...the one they'll always remember. If you have any comments or suggestions, don't hesitate to contact us.
