Warthog

• Hedgehogs (see photo at top left) use the spines on their backs to carry food chunks back to their burrows.
• A warthog (see photo at bottom left) does indeed have warts...four...on its head.
• The Pilgrims fattened their hogs by feeding them clams.
• You can estimate the weight of the hog by the ham. Figure the ham is 7 percent of it.
• That famous feud between the Hatfields and McCoys was started when each claimed a razorback hog spotted loose in the woods.
• Rumor has it that barnyard hogs kill more people than sharks do.
