• Claim is that the most dangerous animal in the woods during the hunting season is the 16-to-19-year-old human. Forty-six percent of the guns that wound hunters out there are fired by men in that age group.
• Up to age 3 months an infant can drink and breathe at the same time (as can all other land mammals). However, at age 3 months, the larynx starts moving down (to prepare for speech). In that lowered position, food passes over the windpipe's opening, so it has to be closed to swallow. But that way, the breath can get to the vocal cords, enabling speech.
